Lactobacillus acidophilus D2 is a probiotic strain isolated from chicken gut. Through the fermentation of lactic acid it helps in prevention and treatment of intestinal dysbiosis and restoration of the intestinal microflora during using antibiotics. In addition, it promotes nutrient absorption, excretion of dry faeces, better egg and albumin quality. As a probiotic poultry culture it can be added to compound  feed, premixtures or drinking water.
